Much has been talked about the red carpet fashion, best dressed ,best moments and so on.I taught of going beyond the Oscars this time and take it to the Vanity Fair Party, which is the after Oscars party and hence waited patiently.
The Oscars this time was not so much about extravagant gowns but more about chic hairstyles from Scarlet Johansson's short back-swept hair to Emma Stone's classic half waves, dewy make up, pink and berry lips with a dash of bold lip colors in shades of red here and there.
The after event party had no dearth of fashion. It seems the real action was happening there with everyone now over with the anxiety of made it..not made it.. Relaxed and in their element it seemed like more fun.
Will start with my favorite Jennifer Lopez
She is an absolute diva. She looked beautiful at both the events,without doubt.But event after event she appears in similar style sheer gowns done in beads & sequin with decollete.Time to change now
Lupita Nyong'o
Her appearance at the Oscars was much awaited and she lived up to everyone's expectations and how.The Calvin Klein pearl gown will remain in everyone's memory forever,stamped! She looked equally exquisite at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in a shimmery golden gown
Scarlett Johansson
Loved her new haircut and the sleek way it was styled. Shaved from the sides and back swept back from the top, a risk taken for a red carpet event but it paid of well
Unfortunately that is where we stop with her. The Atelier Versace emerald gown worn with small crystal collar for jewellery just did not work for her. Mismatched earrings were a good idea but the gold & green ones did not do any good to her
Lady Gaga
She went sober this time, not alcohol we mean with her clothes. But then couldn't resist the temptation of going off. The white gown looked just about fine on her minus the red gloves. Her stylist saved the day by adding the red flower accessory to her hair
Snowballs: Beyonce and Natalie Portman
Beyonce showed up that Vanity fair party in an all white ensemble paired with golden heels and a sting of diamonds for necklace. if the idea was to match her hair colour with the heels ...no it didn't work. She looked great with her long locks. short her just doesn't suit her
Natalie Portman: All white can be difficult to it get right ,but Portman seem to have done it effortlessly. Her gown was simple but she got the look right with smokey eyes and droplets for earrings . A less glamours look but one that looks appealing

She was a head turner in the dusted blue Zuhair Murad gown. She had the right amount of make up on her taking care not to overshadow the dazzling sweetheart neckline gown.When everyone went with the beachy waves for hair , this 42 year old stunner shows up in straight hair. So I guess doesn't matter in or out , it's you who set the style for you not the trends
Rita Ora: A low key affair at the Oscars with her slate blue gown and golden detailing on it. The fashion meter for this signer only went south wards at the Vanity Fair party with a "buttock flashing" black dress and red lips. It's not bold nor seductive guess, it's plain tacky
Irina Shayk: Either wear a dress or don't wear at all ,this half no almost naked look is not at all flattering
