Over the years Amazon India Fashion week has seen many changes and has evolved progressively. From experimenting with new venues to going digital a lot has transformed. This time around the mega fashion event is on at Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium , New Delhi.
Day 2 of Amazon India Fashion Week AW'16 saw Designer Samant Chauhan showcasing his collection called "Rajputana" with a theme around The Silk Route. Samant is known for conceptual designs that are structured well in simple wearable silhouettes.
The collection had an Oriental influence as the designer was inspired by exotic landscapes and fearless attitude of people from the region Tibet, China, Mongolia and Nepal. The ensemble had dresses, tunics, jackets, gowns, kaftans in earthy hues made using Bhagalpur weaving techniques in Zari & Dori work.
