Royal Enfield now for Non-Bikers too!!

The oldest motorcycle company launched it's new flagship retail store in Khan Market, Delhi recently. The store launched Royal Enfield's summer apparel and accessories collection alongside a limited range of motorcycles inspired by the despatch riders of the world wars. Interesting isn't it?





The store has a range of leather jackets, T-shirts,Shirts, pants, leather belts,ankle length shoes, gloves,canvas bags and colourful helmets to choose from. The cuts are modern but the collection still retains the classic rugged look



I was pleasantly taken by surprise at the store, as I honestly wasn't expecting much in terms of apparel and accessories from an auto brand but I must say, MD & CEO Siddharta  Lal, Eicher Motors Ltd. has done a fabulous job of expanding the brand into the non-auto  realm.




The products are priced well and I think will work well for the non-bikers too :) T-shirts range between Rs 990-1500, leather jacket from Rs 10000-16000, shoes are in the range of Rs 5000 and like. By July the apparel & accessories collection and bikes both will be available online too.

I asked Siddharta about why no "women apparel", the gentleman had an honest reply to make"  as 99% of our customer base comprise of men, we would first like to consolidate this segment". So ladies,looks like its going to be a long wait:((
